The 3 inch male spigot end will glue into a 3 inch female slip hub. The 3 inch bayonet end is connecting either a sewer hose or a cap tube. The reason they call it a bayonet end is if you look those 4 pins on the tube itself and this will connect to either 2 hooks on a cap or 4 hooks that'll be on your sewer hose to give you a nice secure connection. Today we're gonna take a look at the Voltaire 1 and 1/2 inch DWV clean out adaptor. Now this DWV clean out adaptor, the DWV stands for drain, waste, and ventilation fitting. Not this part is made of a durable ABS plastic construction. You can see on the larger end it actually has female threaded end on it. The smaller end does not. Now I'll give you a few dimensions on this. On the smaller end the internal dimension is gonna be right at one and 5/8's inches. If we turn it around to the larger female threaded end right here, the internal dimension on that is gonna be right at one and 3/4 inches. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra RV 2-Way L Sewer Elbow. It has the three inch bayonet end and the two three inch rotating flange ends. Now this 2-way sewer elbow has the three inch bayonet end, and the bayonet end is the one that will have the four pins on the tube, and that's designed to connect to either two or four hooks that will be on either your hose or the cap, depending what you use to attach to this. For an example, I pulled one of the caps, and you can see it has the two hooks on it, and basically all you do is put it on there and you can see as you rotate it, those hooks will latch around those pins and give you a nice, secure connections. Now sometimes on the hose, it might have two hooks or four hooks. If you notice on the other end is the two three inch rotating flange ends. Now these rotating flange ends will allow this elbow to rotate after the flange plates are connected to the connection. more

What this cap does is it simply allows for your standard waste valve fitting to be used on a white Thetford valve so if your system's equipped with white Thetford valves, you can purchase this adapter, place it on there and then it converts it or it adapts the fitting or connection point to be used with standard waste valve fittings. That's a really nice design of the unit. Very easy to do. It's got the two hook design right here to fit onto the Thetford valves and then you have your standard hub fitting, bayonet style, to connect your standard waste valve fittings. more

Valterra RV Sewer - Hose Adapters and Fittings - F02-4600 Review- Video
Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Soft Sewer Gasket Sponge Ring. This is for use with standard drain hoses and fittings that are suited for dump stations. The opening right here is going to give us a diameter measurement of just over 3 inches, about 3-1/8. Then it's got that cone or that funnel shape, so the further you go down inside this portion, the tighter that opening gets. When you're making your connection, you just push this into the dump station connection. Then you place your hose or your hose and fitting into the opening and push it down until you can't push down any more. The construction of this piece is really going to provide a nice, tight fit. more

The flange length, how much it sticks above the mounting plate, could put a ruler on, you can see it's going to be right at 1 1/8", and then the mounting holes center to center on the mounting holes is right at 3 3/4". Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Gray Water Drain Adapter for RVs. What you'd do is you would install this on the valve for your gray water sewer tank, and then you can drain that tank by using a 0.5 inch or 5/8 inch diameter waste water hose. Instead of using your typical or standard 3 inch diameter sewer hose, you can use a 5/8 inch or 0.5 inch diameter waste water hose. This will attach to your Bayonet style sewer fitting. It's going to have an outer diameter, from this point here to this point here, of 3.5 inches, so it is designed for your standard fitting. At this point here, it will accept your standard 3/4 inch garden hose connection. You put your garden hose in there. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the EZ Coupler Threaded 90-Degree Bayonet Sewer Fitting. This clear fitting makes it easy to get your sewer system connected at a dump station connector. It's designed to fit a 3-inch slip, 3-inch, 3-1/2 inch, and 4-inch threaded pipe. This also has a press to fit design, so if the 3-inch slip is a little bit too narrow for whatever type of connector at the dump station, you can actually see the multi-tier design so you just press it in. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Quick Connect system with the rotating bayonet fitting. These fittings are going to connect to your standard three inch diameter inaudible 00:00:11 hose. You're going to have the quick twist bayonet fitting, that's going to provide a tight secure connection. This one right here, is your standard lug fitting, it has the four attachment nibs for a standard bayonet fitting to attach to. This one right here is your standard two-prong bayonet fitting and then on the inside it's going to have rubber seals to create a leak-proof connection. Just to show you how these style of fittings fit together, these nibs right there rotate, and then they interlock, there's a small little divot cut out, and that's going to provide the tight, secure connection. They're very quick and easy to use. more

EZ Coupler RV Sewer - Hose Adapters and Fittings - F02-3112 Review- Video
Today, we're going to be taking a look at the EZ Coupler threaded 90 degree bayonet sewer fitting. This end is going to connect to a quick connect fitting. It connects to any standard bayonet fitting. It's going to give us an internal diameter measurement of right on 3 1/2 inches. Again, it is a quick twist attachment and it's got internal seals in there to create a leak proof connection. This portion right here is the portion that would fit into the drain or pipe at the dump station. more
